Mitsinjo Association are an NGO who focus on developing conservation, nature-based tourism and local agriculture and health in Madagascar. The are involved with promotion of handicraft and ecotourism, agricultural extension, bee-keeping, plantation of fruit trees, training in agriculture tecniques and reforestation. They have also been heavily involved in some of David Attenborough's recent documentation of Madagascar Wildlife on BBC2. We are delighted to announce that we will be volunteering on one of Mitsinjo's conservation projects in the heart of Madagascar and we thank Dr. Rainer, Christin Nasoavina and everyone at Mitsinjo for making us feel at home.
Buffelsfontein Game and Nature Reserve
Buffelsfontein Game and Nature Reserve is a privae game reserve located on the west coast of South Africa near Yzerfontein. They offer spectacular game drives and safari trips, challenging off road routes for 4 X 4 lovers and bush camps for the adventurous. The people are lovely and freindly and you really get that close encounter on the game and safari drives. We are forever grateful for the Marshall family and those at Buffelsfontein for their hospitality and for showing us a great time in South Africa.
